MOST Architects – Temporary Office Interior

I believe that a temporary office space – be it temporary because it is only for use for a short period of time, or if its temporary because it’s for use of different people for different amounts of time, should be temporary itself, to further portray its multi use and semi permentant nature.

I really like MOST architects temporary interior . Made out of wooden crates, it gives the impression of a semi permentant solution but is also very cleverly used. The crates form all of the interior elements of the space including the desks and the staircase, which I find really impressive.
The existing building is in Downtown Amsterdam and follows the typical Dutch canal house style, meaning available space is very long and narrow with a split level towards the back. Because of this MOST architects concept has been designed along the longitudinal axis, emphasising the depth of the building by focusing all design a central strip throughout.

The pallet structure is designed in such a way that besides being merely a workplace, the entire element invites you to stand, sit or lay down on the pallets. This open office concept was created to suit the creative advertising agency, with an additional, informal atmosphere.
